Regional train and S-Bahn time tables for the Rhein/Main region can be found here (multi-lingual version, this is an external link !).


From Rhein/Main Airport via Frankfurt Main Station to Langen (25 ... 40 minutes )

  • Use S8 or S9 to Frankfurt Main Station ‘tief’ (approx. 12 minutes)
  • From Frankfurt Main Station ‘tief’, use S3 or S4 to Langen/Bahnhof (approx. 25 minutes)
    or use RB60 from Frankfurt Main Station (you have to change floors at the station, approx. 10 minutes)

    S-Bahn (S3/4/8/9) and regional train (RB60) have identical fare and can be used with the same ticket

Caution : Tickets can not be bought on the S-Bahn or train - please buy the ticket at the ticket machines before boarding the train ! Details on how to operate the ticket machines can be found here (english)

  • From Frankfurt Main Station ‘tief’, use S3 or S4 to Langen/Bahnhof (approx. 25 minutes)
    or use RB60 from Frankfurt Main Station (approx. 10 minutes)

    S-Bahn (S3/S4) and regional train (RB60) have identical fare and can be used with the same ticket.
